Prophetic Push

Written By: Beuvely Severe

Praise. Persist. Prophesy. Proclaim. Pray Until Something Happens!

The word of the Lord for November and the rest of the year is to keep pushing! This is not the time to give up and admit defeat. There is too much at stake and we cannot afford casualties. We must be on guard and vigilant. We must stand on the word of God. I promise you that the manifestation of victory is on the other side, and we will see it with our own eyes.

The Lord highlighted a particular individual in the Bible. There are three accounts of him mentioned in the New Testament. We are introduced to Blind Bartimaeus by name in the book of Mark. A name is not given to the blind beggars mentioned in Matthew and Luke. However, it is said that the three stories are the same, but given from different perspectives.

"When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” "Mark 47-48 NASB 1995

But he kept crying out all the more! May we, people of God, keep crying out all the more. Bartimaeus could not see, but he was able to hear. He heard the word (Jesus in the flesh), and by faith, called out to him for mercy. Faith comes first by hearing the word of God. Bartimaeus did not permit the great multitude to discourage him from getting what he needed. He simply wanted to see. When Jesus shows up, we must be like Bartimaeus and cry out to our Lord and Savior for mercy regarding our situations.

What was the result of Bartimaeus persistence? Let's dive into Luke 18:42 NKJV,"Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God."

His faith got him a response from Jesus! His faith changed the course of his life! May you receive greater sight! Greater insight! Greater foresight! Greater hindsight! May we be people of unwavering faith!

I pray that this message will give you the extra PUSH and encouragement needed for this season. Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking. Keep Praying Until Something Happens!
